The Ontario Sunrisers gathered at the Green Acre RV Park in Waterloo, Ontario, for their annual May rally and the commencement of their season of travel.
54 LTVs attended the event, which provided ample opportunity to meet and enjoy LTV, life, and travel stories. Formal topics regarding the best tires to use, the good and bad of Artificial Intelligence, keeping the grey and black tanks clean, how Ontario Trails create the various recreational trails in Ontario, as well as the Ontario Provincial Police providing a talk on live and cyber frauds and scams. The attendees had a special private discussion with Facebook / YouTube celebrity and solo female LTV traveler Lori Rabey.
An opening-night potluck of appetizers and desserts, evening campfires, an evening of Celtic fiddle music, and a closing-night catered dinner provided attendees with food and fun.
Each morning was kicked off with coffee, a continental breakfast, and social time. Many enjoyed an ‘absent camper’ craft activity and a chance to explore the famously huge St. Jacobs Market. Mother Nature did her part and provided four sunny days, warm weather, and a relatively bug-free environment. The 2026 travel season has officially started, and we all look forward to gathering in September to reflect back on our adventures.
