The Blue Ridge Leisures gathered for its 2026 Spring Rally at The Oaks RV Resort in beautiful Meadows of Dan, Virginia, from May 11–14.
Nestled along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, the rally drew 50 Leisure Travel Vans and their owners from 12 states, creating a vibrant community of LTV enthusiasts. Attendees primarily came from Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, with a wide mix of ownership experience levels. Unity models were most common at 71%, followed by Wonder at 21% and Serenity at 8%.
The weekend blended mountain scenery, Crooked Road music heritage, hands-on learning, and warm camaraderie. Activities included an appetizer potluck social on Monday, a rally orientation with a continental breakfast, inspiring travel-planning panels (regional, long-distance, and RV Trip Wizard), and a Crooked Road music history presentation with live Bluegrass music. All of that was followed by a catered dinner and an ice cream social on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, we shared club information and had free time for Blue Ridge Parkway bike rides, golf, town tours, and winery visits. There was also an LTV care open Q&A with expert owners, followed by a BBQ dinner and more live music—where spontaneous dancing broke out! Throughout, rally participants enjoyed socializing, breaking bread, bingo, open van visits to view modifications, and the natural beauty of the area.
As the rally concluded on Thursday with farewells and safe travels, members were already looking forward to the 2026 Fall Rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
